The data collector is one of the core devices of the weather station. It is responsible for collecting data from various sensors, and performing processing, storage, and transmission. It has multiple communication interfaces, such as RS232, RS485, USB, etc., which can be conveniently connected to a computer or other devices. It has a large-capacity data storage function and can store at least one year's worth of meteorological data.
For the solar panel, a solar panel with a power between 30 - 100W is generally selected, and the specific power is determined according to the power consumption of the weather station and the local sunshine conditions.
The storage battery usually uses a 12V lead-acid battery with a capacity between 10 - 50Ah. It is used to store the electrical energy generated by the solar panel and provide power support for the weather station at night or on rainy days.
Communication Modules:
GPRS/4G module: Transmits the collected data to a remote server or monitoring center through the mobile network to achieve real-time remote data transmission.
Bluetooth module: Enables short-range wireless data transmission, facilitating the connection between on-site devices and mobile terminals and data reading.
ZigBee module: Used to establish a wireless sensor network to achieve data transmission and networking among multiple weather stations.
The weather station bracket is used to support sensors and other devices. It generally uses stainless steel carbon steel or aluminum alloy materials, and the height can be adjusted according to actual needs, usually between 1.5 - 10 meters.
The upper computer software is used to receive, display, analyze, and manage the data collected by the weather station. It can achieve functions such as real-time data monitoring, historical data query, report generation, and data curve drawing, making it convenient for users to intuitively view and analyze meteorological data.
