How Does the Portable Flow Meter Leverage Ultrasonic Doppler Effect?

The Portable Flow Meter is a professional measuring device developed based on the principle of ultrasonic Doppler effect. It has an extremely wide range of application scenarios and can be put to use in places like open irrigation canals, municipal sewer pipes, and hydrological basins. It shows particular advantages in low water level environments and can work normally as long as the water level exceeds 15 centimeters. In regular pipeline and canal scenarios, it can measure the water depth with a pressure sensor and the flow velocity with an ultrasonic sensor, and then quickly calculate the flow rate.

The housing of this flow meter is made of PVC plastic, featuring excellent waterproof and sealing effects. Its dimensions are 25 cm in length, 7 cm in width, and 3 cm in height. It comes with a 15-meter air guide cable by default when leaving the factory. If there are any special requirements, just specify them when placing an order. It complies with the Modbus communication protocol and realizes communication via the RS485 bus, ensuring stable and efficient data transmission.

The underwater sensor of the device is very convenient to install, equipped with a metal base fixing device. It has an all-electronic design, which not only supports wide-voltage power supply but also has low power consumption. There are no mechanical parts, greatly enhancing its durability. It monitors the flow velocity and flow rate unidirectionally, and the measured data is accurate and stable. The flow velocity range is 0.03 - 5.00 m/s, with an accuracy of ±1.0% ± 1 cm/s; the water temperature measurement range is -10 - 60℃, with an accuracy of ±1℃; the default maximum water depth measurement range is 10 meters, with an accuracy of 0.5% ± 0.5 cm.
