Insect Suction Trap FT-CT1: Advanced Automated Pest Monitoring System

Author: Fengtu time:2025-10-22 09:22:55 viewed:12℃

In agricultural production and ecological research, timely and accurate monitoring of migratory pest populations is crucial for implementing scientific prevention and control measures. Traditional pest monitoring methods primarily rely on manual surveys, which are inefficient, have limited coverage, and suffer from data lag. To address these challenges, Fengtu has developed the Insect Suction Trap FT-CT1, a next-generation automated pest monitoring system based on image recognition and IoT technology, enabling long-term, continuous, and automated monitoring of small migratory insects.

The Insect Suction Trap FT-CT1 utilizes an axial fan at the base to generate continuous suction, drawing small insects flying through the tower top inlet (8.3 meters high) into the sample collection device. Inhaled insects pass through a filter to separate large debris, while the device is equipped with rainproof and bird-proof structures to ensure stable operation in complex weather conditions. Once insects enter the collection tray, a built-in 5-megapixel high-definition camera captures images at regular intervals (every 30 minutes). The image data is then uploaded to a cloud platform via 4G or network interface. On the cloud, AI algorithms automatically perform insect recognition, counting, and species classification, with data displayed in real-time on PC terminals and mobile applications, allowing users to monitor target insect dynamics anytime.

The device integrates multiple functions including insect attraction, extermination, dispersion, photography, data transmission, and collection, enabling fully unattended operation throughout the process. The system automatically activates at night and enters standby mode during the day, improving energy efficiency while adapting to insect activity patterns.

Users can real-time monitor device status, environmental data, and pest statistics through the touch screen or remote terminals. The system supports manual control of the insect killing chamber, drying chamber, and camera. Each device is equipped with a built-in positioning module, allowing users to view station distribution on the cloud platform map.

The Insect Suction Trap FT-CT1 is suitable for various applications including agriculture, forestry, horticulture, urban greening, and research quarantine. It supports both mains electricity and solar power supply, meeting deployment requirements in different regions.
