Built on IoT technology, the Source Water Monitor comprises units for flow stabilization and venting, analysis and testing, system control, and remote communication. It features power supply and lightning protection, and can simultaneously monitor three core water quality indicators online: pH, conductivity, and water temperature.
The Source Water Monitor is an integrated water quality monitoring device suitable for scenarios such as rivers, waterworks, piped water supply networks, secondary water supply systems, swimming pools, and direct drinking water systems. Built on IoT technology, it consists of multiple modules including a flow stabilization and venting unit, an analysis and testing unit, a system control unit, and a remote communication unit. It supports 220V AC power supply and has comprehensive lightning protection and network communication capabilities. The device adopts an integrated, pull-out design, enabling automatic water quality monitoring within a single cabinet. It requires no additional complex auxiliary facilities, making on-site installation and maintenance relatively simple.
Source Water Monitor has a pH measurement range covering 0 to 14, employing the electrochemical salt bridge principle, achieving a measurement accuracy of ±0.1 pH and a resolution of 0.01 pH. The conductivity measurement range is 0 to 10000 μS/cm, using a contact electrode method with a measurement accuracy of ±1.5% and a resolution of 1 μS/cm. Water temperature measurement employs a high-precision digital sensor, with a measurement range of -20℃ to 85℃, an accuracy of ±0.1℃, and a resolution of 0.1℃. The device automatically extracts water samples into a flow-through tank, simultaneously measuring the temperature using built-in pH, conductivity, and temperature sensors. Data acquisition is processed by the system control unit and can be displayed locally on a 4.3-inch or 7.0-inch touchscreen. It also supports uploading data to a PLC, DCS, or IoT platform via an RS485 interface using the Modbus-RTU protocol.
Source Water Monitor supports continuous online monitoring, enabling 24/7 water quality data collection without manual sampling. The built-in data storage module records historical monitoring data and alarm records, and supports exporting Excel files via USB flash drive for easy data analysis and report generation. The remote communication unit supports 4G/GPRS and RJ45 wired networking, and can expand sensor remote transmission capabilities. The accompanying IoT platform supports TCP short connections and HTTP protocol data forwarding, allowing users to remotely view real-time data and set warning thresholds via mobile phone or computer. A multi-channel RS485 expansion interface allows users to freely combine other sensors as needed, such as turbidity, dissolved oxygen, COD, and ammonia nitrogen, achieving flexible expansion of the water quality monitoring system. The equipment casing is made of ABS+PC material, which has corrosion resistance and weather resistance. Sensors in the analysis and testing unit must be installed at a certain tilt angle, and the operating environment temperature must be within the range of 0℃ to 50℃ and the pressure below 0.3 MPa to ensure the stability of measurement results.
